Dr. Rudersdorf was born in Sioux City, Iowa. He attended Creighton University and Creighton University College of Medicine, graduating in 1970 and 1974 respectively. He completed his internships at the University of Colorado from 1974-75; served from 1975-77 as a General Medical Officer in the US Army while stationed in Korea; the Medical College of Ohio from 1977-79, and the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center from 1979-81.
Before coming to Lincoln in 1983, Dr. Rudersdorf was a physician at the Porter, Swedish, and Craig Rehabilitation Center in Denver, Colorado. He is Board Certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, critical care medicine and sleep medicine. He is a fellow in the American College of Chest Physicians.
