Daisy Ortiz Juarez, APRN
Advanced Practice Clinician
Daisy earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with minors in Gerontology and Spanish, from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in 2018. She began her career as a Family Advocate, supporting underserved and at-risk families in the public school system. She later earned her nursing degree and Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
Before joining pulmonology, Daisy gained nursing experience in family practice, inpatient rehabilitation, and the medical-surgical intensive care unit. She enjoys meeting new patients and overall improving quality of life by tailoring goals around patient values.
Outside of work, Daisy enjoys spending time with her family at the beach and reading.
