Hospitalization & Critical Care

At times asthma, COPD, lung cancer, pneumonia, or other pulmonary illnesses, may worsen to the point that hospitalization is required. If you are admitted with primary pulmonary issues or to the Intensive Care Units, our pulmonologists will likely treat you during your stay.

During a hospital stay, the following tests or treatments can be expected on a daily basis: lab draws, oral or IV medications, injections, nebulizer treatments, chest x-rays, or other radiology tests.  Upon discharge, you will be scheduled for a follow up appointment and any necessary testing in our office to continue your care.
